Our Overview.
Lead singer Johnny Ogle reminisces: "This was our first recorded release, from 2005 and cost us £150 to make. I remember arriving at the studio in Mill Hill and being very excited about recording my vocals. It was only after awhile I actually realised that we were basically only there to record drums and some bass and that my vocals were only going to be ‘guide vocals’ – I was very upset! A couple of bits were kept – such as the ‘yeah man’ at the start of ‘Another Mule’. There was some Hammond organ added to this by a guy called Alan, who did play some gigs with us, but we eventually lost touch with him. Once released, the EP was critically lauded and was voted # 20 in Classic Rock’s ‘Top 50 Albums of 2005’ end of year poll. We celebrated hard that night. It also led to our support slot with Iron Maiden at the Hammersmith Apollo, which was obviously a dream come true. We still play all of the songs from this EP - Lord Kill The Pain is always a crowd pleaser and usually closes our set."
