Forty Five, Freaky Dancin', Tart Tart, 24 Hour Party People. All on coloured vinyl.

Our Overview.

Happy Mondays were the influential alternative rave rockers, who famously mixed dance music with hip-hop elements and who practically defined the ‘Madchester’ movement of the late 1980’s and this little box set beauty is a treat for fan old and new. This collection of EPs features very early, rare Happy Mondays tracks originally released on limited edition vinyl in the late 1980s by Factory Records. Included is the original version of ‘24 Hour Party People’ and ‘The Egg’ - with atmospheric eerie slide guitar and driving bass this is a stand out gem from the band’s back catalogue and transports you back in time to late 1980s Manchester.

All tracks remastered from original master tapes.

The EP will be launched with a new video for feature track ‘The Egg’ by UK animator Pete Fowler.

The band are touring the UK throughout the Autumn for the first time as the original line up in many years.

‘Forty Five’ pressed on translucent green vinyl in sleeve with 3mm spine. ‘Freaky Dancin’ / The Egg’ appears on translucent orange vinyl in sleeve with 3mm spine. ’Tart Tart’ is on translucent blue vinyl in 3mm spine sleeve. ‘24 Hour Party People’ on translucent yellow vinyl in sleeve with 3mm spine. All 4 EPs are gathered in a 300gsm carton slipcase.
