Our Overview.
The ‘Purps’ are back with their first album in four years and enjoying their most stable line-up ever,remaining unchanged since 2002 when keyboardist Don Airey replaced founding member Jon Lord. Aside from guitarist Steve Morse (who replace Ritchie Blackmore in 1994) the band still features IanGillan, Ian Paice and Roger Glover from the glory days of the early 70s when Deep Purple were oneof the pioneering heavy rock groups and also enjoying commercial success.
The two tracks premiered ahead of the albums release show all the hallmarks of the bands classicsound from the riffing guitars to the Hammond organ via Gillan’s distinctive vocals. Not bad for abunch of men in their 60s and 70s!
