Our Overview.

Singer songwriter Judy Dyble returns with her new solo album, released in the wake of the success of her 2017 collaboration with Andy Lewis, ‘Summer Dancing’. The new album highlights Judy’s vocal and songwriting talent. It displays her teenage song writing influences; Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins and Phil Ochs and bringing her modern day view to this sound.

Dyble was only 18 when she joined a band that would become Fairport Convention in 1967. She sang on their first album: ‘Fairport Convention’ (1968) before leaving to make way for Sandy Denny. Judy then briefly joined Giles Giles & Fripp, the group that would evolve into King Crimson. She finally released a second album in 1970 when she teamed up with Them’s keyboard player Jackie McAuley under the name Trader Horne. Despite heavy rotation from John Peel they failed to breakthrough and Judy quit music when she married a couple of years later.

She returned to the fray in the early 00s and has been performing ever since releasing albums and touring. This is her first solo album since 2013’s ‘Flow And Change’.
